From Upload to Posted Credit
1. Ingest
Transcripts arrive by upload, email inbox, SFTP or electronic exchange (EDI/SPEEDE, PESC XML). Scanned and photographed documents are read with document AI tuned for academic records.
2. Extract
LioraAI identifies the institution, terms, courses, grades, credit units and repeats, then normalizes grading scales and credit systems, including quarter hours and international formats.
3. Match
Each course is compared with your catalog using course descriptions from a corpus of more than a million, your articulation agreements and your evaluators’ past decisions. Your transfer policy is applied: grade minimums, residency, caps and course age.
4. Review
Recommendations above your confidence threshold go to a reviewer for one-click approval. Anything uncertain is flagged with the reason and routed to the right evaluator or faculty member.
5. Post
Approved decisions post to your SIS through API or SFTP, and the full record (evidence, rule version, recommendation, approver) is stored in the audit trail.
